Meet Sepi.
I'm Sepi, the founder of Pure + Natural. My journey started in Iran during the Islamic revolution. When I was a young girl, my aunt and uncle were brutally executed for protesting against the regime. My family and I had to flee Iran and ended up in a refugee camp in Germany for three years.
See My StoryWhile in Germany, we got news that my aunt was in New York and could sponsor my family to come to the United States. Within a few weeks, my family immigrated to New York City, and I became a US citizen. I immediately began high school - without knowing a single word of English. It was tough, but I worked hard and became fluent in English by the time I graduated. I went on to study dental hygiene in Long Island and eventually moved to Pittsburgh to help my parents run their Persian restaurants.
But things changed when my aunt, who had sponsored our move to the US, was diagnosed with breast cancer caused by aluminum-based deodorant. I was determined to find a safe and natural alternative that would be free of toxic ingredients like aluminum and harsh chemicals. The search was unsuccessful. That's when I started working with scientists and product formulators to develop my own formula.
After a year of testing and perfecting, I started distributing my all-natural deodorant to in July of 2022. Since then, I've been working hard to educate consumers on the hidden chemicals in our products and the changes they can make to live a healthier lifestyle.
It's been an incredible adventure so far, and I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to make a difference in people's lives.
